I felt sad when she left us in 2005 - she was one of the few Washington State politicians I admired. I’m even sadder now.

Notice that the Article left off that she was a Republican. Typical MSM slight.

She was a strong supporter of Ronald Reagan and a key member in the move to draft Reagan. I was honored to have her as my Congresswoman for so many years.

Yeah, she was indeed one of the good ones. If only there were more like her.

I only met her once, many years ago. But she made a powerful impression on me.

Quite. She would have made a fine Senator. Even more of a shame considering who we ~do~ have in the Senate.

She loved Reagan so much she named her son after him. He is Reagan Dunn, who is a King County Councilman.

Quite a surprise...

Yes, PEs don't usually arise out of nothing, but are usually the result of some other condition like extended afib or surgery or some other trauma. I wonder if she was on a really long air trip just before she succumbed.

I only wish the Replublican Front Runners had her voting record. If one did, there would be no division on who we were behind.
