I’m betting the farm that “the judge” in this case is a Democrat (it is Kalefornia) and he just felt it was the “right thing to do” in granting bail.

It seems to me that in instances where bail needs to be set extremely high, that it might not be such a good idea to grant bail AT ALL!!!!

You know something doesn't make sense. He already was a fugitive, but "surrendered" and got bail again. Then he disappears. Great deal, skip out on bail, wait until the warrant gets you, have bail set AGAIN skip out again, wait until the warrant gets you again, get bail set, skip out ad nauseum.
