How it Works in Kosovo

Chris Deliso’s book The Coming Balkan Caliphate describes the ordeal of former OSCE official and Kosovo whistle-blower Tom Gambill as he tried to sound the warning about terror groups operating in the Balkans. In the process, Deliso sheds light on the difference between the type of soldier my erstwhile KFOR source is and the types of military hacks who muzzled him are:

[Gambill] knew from police reports and photos that the group [Revival of Islamic Heritage Society] was active in the central Kosovo village of Malisevo and was presumed to be dangerous. The security officer made a point of bringing it up at security meetings and in written correspondence with the U.S. Department of State throughout 2003. However, he ran up against a brick wall. “I had this info [about the charities] all the way back in 2001,” says Gambill. “But the State Department didn’t want to hear about it.” He recalls:

“I brought it up at every meeting I went to that included [the U.S.] military, but nada. Many of the American KFOR guys were there for their six months — you know, get the ribbon, do a few good deeds, and go home. And those who confided in me didn’t want to rock the boat with their superiors…the thinking was, ‘hey, we’re here for only six months — let’s get the job done as assigned and get home.’.......

I can’t locate the article at the moment, but it said that if Kosovo unilaterally declares independence, all the internationals will leave — leaving only American KFOR alone to deal with it

I can think of a couple of Dhimmwits who are really going to hate these truths coming forward.

I hope they choke on it.

The Balkan people need to realize that progress and peace can be made and developed only within a unified collaborative Balkan federation of Christian Orthodox states.

Operative words: Chrstian Orthodox not secular EU

Byzantium must be revived. And a win for LAOS and Karatzaferis in Greece could pave the way for this eventuality.

LOL...having spoken to Tom Gambill, I can safely say that his knowledge of the Balkans is pretty much close to nil.

Yes, I agree with you that Byzantium should be revived. And I am not even Orthodox (yet)!!

But I know nothing of those Greek politicians and parties.

The Serbs were doing God's work in 1999 when Bill Clinton intervened and became a Muslim ally. To quote the Gates of Vienna website banner "At the siege of Vienna in 1683 Islam seemed poised to overrun Christian Europe. We are in a new phase of a very old war". The Christian countries' of the Balkans will have to purge itself of all Islamic enemies soon as there can be no accomodations to the IslamicNazis . This report stops just short of that analysis but it is glaringly obvious. The IslamicNazis (in Balkans) know they are running out of time in that when we (USA) come to our senses and elect Duncan Hunter as POTUS then they will have no where to run but back to Turkey -if they can outrun the goodly Serbs/Greeks/Macedonians trying to eliimate as many of the Mussies as possible lest they get away to fight another day.

Which is what we've come to expect from the Serb-bashers on this forum when someone disagrees with them.

But your stating this goes a long way toward verifying everything that Tom has to say for the rest of us!

Sounds like the “Balkan desk” at the State dept. Our govt. sadly and many others have only seen the Balkans as a place to do business not as a place to relieve suffering from the muslim yoke. That said, I have started to see signs of this mentality cracking up.

FormerLib: your knowledge of Balkan affairs also leaves a lot to be desired. There’s a few Serbs here who have a good understanding of what went on, guys like kosta50, getoffmylawn, and montyspython. You, OTOH, cannot be included with these individuals.

Dio: I would suggest that you not get into the practice of judging others' knowledge.

This is just a suggestion.

Ljubivoje: I’ll go up against anyone here on FR in regards to the Balkans. I’ve heard so much blatant crap from a lot of sides that I’m sometimes left speechless.
