That local sheriff was a whiny sniveling A$$#0LE.
I'm not a Romney fan, but that whole scene was scripted by someone who probably was shilling for Giuliani and it was WAY out of line.
It was at that point that I knew this whole debate was a farce. I wanted to turn it off at that point, but it is hard to turn away when you are observing a train wreck in progress.
I enjoyed the duel between Ron Paul and Mark Huckabee. That is what a debate is supposed to be. Hats off to both those men. (I won’t vote for either of them!)
You really think so? I thought the Deputy Sheriff went out of his way to be polite to Romney. I can’t think of how he could have made his point more tactfully. I personally thought this was a most excellent debate. It was moderated by real journalists who weren’t afraid to ask tough questions and let the participants challenge each other. IIRC, the democratic candidates wouldn’t participate in a FNC-led debate. Now I can see why.
FOX definitely appears to be shilling for Rudy. First, they came out slamming Fred and then they went on an ambush of Mitt, saving all the harshest questions for him.
I noticed that when Mitt mentioned Rudy's immigration failings, Rudy was allowed to rebut. When McCain mischaracterized Romney's immigration position, Mitt was not allowed time to rebut at all. They definitely appear to be pulling for Rudy.
FOX -- the Rudy '08 network.

Couldn't agree more. This was an attempted hit on Mitt, designed to do maximum damage. Fox News should be ashamed....way out of line and not called for.
