If he really believes this garbage then he should have no problem flying to Iraq so he can tell it to the soldiers’ faces.

The Democrats seek defeat and failure where there is none. They are busy McGovernizing themselves. We have a political party who cannot celebrate a victory for America and any good news for our country is bad political news for them. Chuck Schumer has admitted as much.

Schumer has a history of telling lies over and over again until some people begin believing it to be the truth.

So what? Treasonous utterances have been flowing for years. All anyone ever does is describe how it's too much now.. over the top.. something has to be done.

The govt won't do squat and the people won't do squat.

Many liberals call for the removal of Maliki

But wouldn't that be imperialism and that is what they have said the Bush admin. sponsors?

If I posted what I feel about Schumer I would probably get in trouble. Seditious bastard is the cleanest comment I can come up with.

Schumer is a disgrace. People who vote for him are a disgrace.

I hope God has no mercy for his soul.

Scumbag Schumer should be tried for treason in time of war. Won’t happen, though — the Bush administration doesn’t have the guts to do it. Sigh.

I called Schumer’s DC office, busy signal. I called his NYC office and told him to tell that to Petraeus’ face when he appears before the Senate. Funny, they didn’t like my suggestion

I like to vision the Dems as the Grande Armee deep inside Russia.

The enemy in Tehran, Damascus, Moscow and Beijing are gloating over this tide of suicidal defeatism and treason right now. Schumer and his ilk are the Vidkun Quislings of this war.

The Surge is Working and Victory is at Hand

How does he Know the Surge didn’t work?? He claimed this wouldn’t work in the first place and now he has to credit the Iraqis who were shooting at us 6 mos ago. This logic is absurd.

Pray for W and Our Troops

This is a poker game and the Democrats have gone "all-in" for defeat. They think they can break the Republican Party for a generation by forcing failure in Iraq and hanging it all on George Bush. They thought Congressional Republicans would run scared after the last election and desert the President and vote with them for an immediate pullout. They thought the surge would fail. They were wrong on both counts. It is the reasonable Democrats who are deserting their party line now and talking about the horrendous consequences of defeat in Iraq.

Schumer's hysteria in this speech is proof positive of the Democrats' desperation. They are doing the equivalent of throwing a Hail Mary pass to try to undermine the public's confidence in General Petraeus in a last-ditch effort to secure a U.S. defeat in Iraq. To call this disgraceful is an understatement. I can't even find words in the dictionary terribole enough to describe these pieces of human filth - Schumer, Reid, Pelosi, the whole lot of them.
