I used to like Ron Paul. Unfortunately, he picked the wrong issue to ride to (personal) victory.
Ain’t that the truth!
Me too...
Actually, I think he’s the kind of individual useful only as one voice in a room full of voices. I like him in the people House, just not in the White House.
He’s just too myopic and dangerously isolationist. I too love the founders and the work they did in 1776.
But most of what we deal with today did not exist in 1776. On one hand, our nation MUST be protected and preserved by real reverence for our founding documents and our fundamental beliefs.
But to suggest that our nation can be protected and preserved against outside threats by way of 1776 technologies and understandings is suicide.
The founding documents are the tool to be used to protect this nation from enemies within.
But our very advanced military and intelligence operations exist to protect and preserve our way of life, against outside enemies and we have plenty of those and always have.
Well said.
Fixed it for ya. :)
Thank you!
Much better!
whatever happened to “FReep this poll”?
hmm.....
I was about to say that to you - you have disgraced the name of the great “Jack Ryan” from the novels. You are his disreputable brother.
Calm down and stop supporting wackos.
And his crazed supporters love him for it.
That’s because there aren’t enough moderates to elect a conservative in those states, much less enough conservatives...
Mitt Romney would have my vote right now if he had beat Teddy out of his senate seat first. Since he didn’t do the best thing he could for America , he doesn’t have my vote today.
Oh, tsk, tsk. Is this male menopause?
