Difference is that Perot was Conservative and pro American, something Paul is not. I think in a one on one with Rudy, McCain or Thompson he would have his ass handed to him and look foolish. Now a one on one with Hillary she would end up looking like a phony on the war.
I hope he doesn't run but I do not think it will be a loss for us.

If he is then I think you can add ‘liar’ to his resume. Hasn’t he stated or at least I’ve read where he said he’d not run as a 3rd party candidate this time. Thus he’ll not be on the General ballot as a candidate for he’ll not win the Republican nomination.
Now he’ll stay in till the convention much like Keyes did in 2000 and will also garner a few of the delegates. But he’ll never have enough or the 1855 delegates to win the nomination. This is Paul’s last hurrah.
