Perhaps she should have given credit to the Colonel who wrote the safety tips, but I would hardly think it's necessary when you're just restating what an Ohio state employee wrote as part of official business.

And the other plagarism charge was made by the DCCC and independent candidate Nate Noy, who accused her of writing an op-ed that was almost the same, word-for-word, as one written by fellow Ohio Congresswoman (and Republican) Deborah Pryce. So the charge of plagarism was made by a political enemies right before the election, something the story neglected to mention. They also neglect to mention that this is a common practice among all Congresspersons.

The truth is that Schmidt called John Murtha a coward and the Dems and MSM are going to make her pay for it.

So the Enquirer's goal is to scrutinize everything she writes in her column to ensure it is not plagiarized? What motivates someone to investigate safety tips????? (No answer needed.) Would they have done that to Paul Hackett? Like her or not, Jean Schmidt has been targeted by the DNC from the beginning because she had the guts to stand up to Murtha and Howard Dean. She supports the war effort with passion and that just does not go over well with the left. JEAN SCHMIDT -- Commitment to troops reinforced

That’s a pathetic defense. Plagiarism is plagiarism. And she is a very stupid human being.
