O.K. Ahnold. It’s been a nice ride. Go on back to Austria now; you’ve made your millions & obtained the highest office you will ever hold.

Hasta la vista baby!!!

We are 2 voters who have shrank the Republican party in California.
Hubby and I both reregistered as Independents recently and I am sure we are not the only ones.
The thing Arnold doesn’t get, is that R’s like he and President Bush are who pushed us over to the Independents. Mainly because they have moved too far left for us.

The only thing one finds in the middle of the road are yellow lines and dead animals.

I’m sure he is right—where CA is concerned. Certainly the hordes of illegals who vote (illegally) and consume the lions share of state services aren’t going to vote Republican. Look for the “mainstream” in California to shift ever to the Left. The sad fact is that CA will probably be a permanent blue state (actually a brown one)—until it is finally re-annexed by Mexico.

I dunno, I’ve slept with lots of liberals. I kinda enjoy doing to them what they have been doing to the rest of the country.

Arnold should be gagged (from speaking), thank God I’m not a Californinan, he’s probably part of the reason why the GOP vote has shrunk! Liberal Arnold (in a supposed “conservative party”)!

Hey Arnold, there already IS a pro-abortion, pro-gay, environmental whacko, big spending massive borrowing party that’s advocating socialized medicine. If you think that’s the way to go, then go. But please just end the fraud and quit lecturing those of us in the OTHER party who are entitled to our opposing views.

thank God I’m not a Californinan

Thank God I am. If you were, you'd know that the quality of life in this wonderful, prosperous, beautiful state, that it would take far more than the likes of Arnold and liberal Democrats to ruin it.

Well then, Arnie could lead the way in California and move back to the center from the Dem left wing policies he’s adopted.

This guy is starting to sound like Julie Arnie.

Good thing the Constitutional protections preventing non-native born Americans from being elected President are still in place, otherwise we would have even bigger problems.

These are thee words of a real conservative.

but that sentiment in the Declaration of Independence which gave liberty, not alone to the people of this country, but, I hope, to the world, for all future time. It was that which gave promise that in due time the weight would be lifted from the shoulders of all men. This is a sentiment embodied in the Declaration of Independence. Now, my friends, can this country be saved upon that basis? If it can, I will consider myself one of the happiest men in the world, if I can help to save it. If it cannot be saved upon that principle, it will be truly awful. But if this country cannot be saved without giving up that principle, I was about to say I would rather be assassinated on this spot than surrender it.

Governor Schwarzenegger warns the Republican party must move back to the political center or risk losing voter support.

-snip

He says the state party’s percentage of voter registration has been shrinking

Do you see the correlation, Arnie? Or are you that dense?

and to reverse it the party must tackle issues with broad public appeal, like climate change and building highways, railroads and tunnels.

That’s good to hear, I think CA needs a Conservative Party like New York has. It’s obvious that the GOP there is so far to the left.

I grew up in Los Angeles and moved to Sacramento when I was 33, 12 years ago. I have traveled and worked in nearly every area of California. I have also traveled and work all over the country. I have the means to live ANYWHERE in the U.S. I love California and live here by choice.
