Obama is a true media creation. He was getting creamed in the Illinois Senate race by Jack Ryan until the Trib dug up Ryan’s divorce court records. His feet haven’t touched the ground since.
Oprah's fans are like cult followers in many ways. They have a rapt look in her audience. I hope she raises a ton of money for Obama and that he fails big time.
Maybe she took too many blows to the head in her catfights with Joan Collins.

Obama is naive and a political novice, not to mention wrong on most every issue.
But then again, show me a Democrat who is actually right on the issues, and I’ll show you someone enjoying their retirement.
That aside, the Democrats could only do themselves good by nominating him and moving away from the shrill rhetoric of hate and recriminations of the Clinton machine and Howard Dean.

When one considers who was in attendance all I can think is that it’s too bad there’s no longer a HUAC.
I’m disappointed to see that Linda Evans and Dennis Haysbert were there. I thought they were more conservative.
As an aside, I had a friend who was a featured guest on Oprah’s show several times. She said that Oprah wasn’t particularly intelligent and this friend was a lefty.
He’s so separated from the crowd. I remember seeing a campaign photograph of President Bush being compared to John Kerry. This photograph of Obama reminds me of Kerry.
But dont go in my house.. What a bitch!!

I'd like the same, but I don't know what's going to happen. The young libs that I thought would go for Hillary are backing Obama. They see him as an outsider and more importantly, not a Clinton.
On the other hand, if it is Obama vs Fred, we're in like Flynn!
