Someone just posted a bunch of pictures of those Mexican trucks. They look pretty safe and solid to me.
To: wolfinator
Well you are wrong and need to take off your rose colored glasses too. Note, I bet you and the other n00bie have as much experience in dealing with problems on the border as you have here on FR.
None.

Actually, I don’t really feel like a “noobie.” I wonder why that is?

“is every truck checked for smuggled items and people?”
Sure. Just like in the movie Men In Black. There might be an alien in there.
To: ulm1; wolfinator
wolfinator: 2. I agree with ulm1s position that its the unions, particularly the Teamsters Union, that is trying to spread fear in order to maintain their monopoly on trucking. I say, screw the Teamsters and support non union workers.
While the Minutemen protest, the Teamster try to recruit the Mexican Drivers.

If I were still in the trucking industry I would hire you in a minute. The simple fact that you can check tread and brake wear and the driver’s credentials from a couple of stupid pictures is amazing!
Bush is an idiot but his people were not stupid enough to send a few beaten up wrecks as the first trucks. Give it a year and I hope you get a good look at one in your rear view mirror while sitting at a light and they are doing 70 finishing a beer.
I lived in the Rio Grande Valley for three years before I left in disgust.
Hey gunner, you work in trucking. Maybe you should hire this fortune teller!

Actually directly blaming Jorge for Mexican trucks is inaccurate. Quick now, who pushed for NAFTA as president?

Do you think the Mexican trucks will be checked when they re enter Mexico? They’ll be empty after they dump their load and looking for something to haul back. I can only imagine.

These DU threads are getting more and more frequent of FR. Conspiracy crap on History Channel so I come to browse FR and get the same crap.
Think I’m going to go sit in a corner and repeatedly poke myself in the eye with a spoon. It’s about as productive as this drivel.

What are you talking about? There’s no conspiracy....the trucks are real. I hope one of them doesn’t prove it to you up close and personal.
