I had the displeasure of working in an office with a “truther” who literally became deranged to the point of not being able to function on the job. He lived off the internet’s dark left wing fantasy sites, and came to work bleary-eyed, crazed and disoriented. When it became too much for him to be expected to even nominally function on the job, he was let go. He was a crazy liberal nut job from the beginning but his downward spiral was something to behold.
It’s too bad, He was one of those child progeny types that i guess tripped over that fine line over time.
Also, how do they explain all the people that saw the plane hit the Pentagon?

Access to the Web over the last 10 years has really sent alot of people over the deep end.
I heard an interview on the radio with two Fireman who just happen to be on the Freeway near the Pentagon who said the aircraft flew right above them at a very high rate of speed. These same two men also happened to be among the first emergency responders on site after the impact.
To answer the question why did the camera not catch the plane in the video. A plane flying at that speed would at best be just a blur on a stationary camera at the range the camera was from the impact. You would have to pan & shoot to have any hope of capturing it. I learned this from experience during Tiger Cruises on my Aircraft carrier when we would have have aircraft scream by us deck-high at near supersonic speed. If you did not pan you got nothing.
My two favorite rebuttals are:
“What are you, retarded?”
and
“Did you not see those big freaking planes slam into the buildings?”

There were just as many witnesses who claimed it was a missle or a small, very fast jet...
I am not one of these 'truthers' but I am not a sheeple either...
There are still questions that are unanswered to 'my' satisfaction...
I am satisfied that flight 800 was brought down with a missle...That means to me, the Gov't lied...
Back those claims up with documented witness statements or go jump in a lake.
I have a good friend who witnessed the event. He is no conservative, but he saw the plane fly overhead and hit the Pentagon.
He was so disturbed by what he witnessed that he and his wife sold their property in D.C. and moved to a rural farm.
Additionally, Barbara and Ted Olson were neighbors of another friend. Barbara Olson was killed on the aircraft that hit the Pentagon.
Personally, I have nothing but utter contempt for people who deny the truth in the name of “truth.”
If it had been, and indeed was covered up ... so what? Somethings need doing, and not everyone needs the details - especially when so many are out to twist every little thing into a proof of malice.
Why do we have to spend the time answering these kooks?
My rule is not spend mental energy on deranged people.
Great Link. The only witness the Truthers care about is the one they take out of context. The line “it was nothing more than a guided missle”. They never mention the next line where he calls it a plane.

I took my daughter to a rock concert Sunday night and for some reason there was a group from 911truth.org there giving out flyers and DVDs of their “proof”. And right next to the stack of DVDs was a pile of Ron Paul for President bumper stickers. Connection?
The biggest piece of evidence to refute this can be seen in the security video frames from the cameras at the Pentagon.
The huge orange fireball testifies to the fact that it was caused by an extremely flammable liquid like gasoline or jet fuel in a large amount.
A cruise missile does not use this type of explosive material in its warhead. It uses the equivalent of TNT.
An explosion from a cruise missile would not produce a large orange fireball. A TNT explosion has a surprising lack of this type of fireball despite what Hollywood tells us in films.
In fact, Hollywood routinely uses gasoline for these explosions for the express purpose of creating such a fireball.
Military ordnance does not explode in this manner. Reality is quite different from what SPFX experts use in film.
Even if a cruise missile were fitted with an explosive liquid to create a fireball like was seen in the camera stills, it would not hold a sufficient amount to create the fireball seen on film and would not have done as much damage as was seen afterward.
