Congressmen of both parties have been driven from office over mistreatment of staff. Let’s hope this story has some legs. We have seen nothing in the Philly papers about Sestak, excpet that he did get some money from Norman Hsu. Many of us believe that Sestak was bankrolled by the Clintons specifically to get rid of Curt Weldon and shut down his investigation of Able Danger.

i hope a credible republican can rise to challenge him in ‘08. none has stepped up so far. unfortunately, the liberal poison from the philadelphia exodus may ensure sestak keeps his seat.

It’ll be interesting to see how his latest press secretary handles this or how long he/she lasts when it doesn’t come out just the way the good admiral wants it.

I guess it shows Mullen was right in canning his butt.

If Iraq continues to turn around, I don't see any reason why Curt Weldon can't win his seat back. It was his for many years, and he lost because of the 1-2 punch of Iraq bad news and Clinton smear machine b.s. regarding his family's legal problems. IIRC, I think it was a fairly close election.

I know people that live in his district (Lansdowne), and I still a lot of 'Support the Troops' bumper stickers on cars there.
