I really am an ignoramus when it comes to this topic, but isn’t hashing out time elapsed after conception really rather silly?

When someone proclaims “a woman’s right to choose” — ask: “to choose what?”

Ask: “do you believe that women should have the unrestrained right to choose which schools their children attend?”

Or, (in countries with universal government health care) ask: do you believe that women should be free to choose who provides their health care?”

Most of the strident supporters of abortion “rights” are also opposed to school choice, and favour a government monopoly on health care. They only support choice in one area — and even there, only if it’s the “right choice”.
