I remember thinking how quiet it was. No planes in the skies and everyone just seemed numb. Even traffic seemed subdued. And the few times I saw a plane in the sky, I watched it carefully.
Honestly, I expected more attacks.

Some of us (including me) thought that this attack was a precursor for something bigger, even more evil. Russia and China were in the backs of many of our minds, but we knew without a doubt that it was a terrorist attack when the first plane hit, and it was confirmed a few minutes later when we watched in the Security offices in my building, the second plane.
Many of us believed that some bigger state had funded it, put it together and it was simply a precursor to a larger invasion by a "large number of people" from "another state".
