I hope that the dashboard camera that usually are on board state police cruisers caught his image so that an APB/BOLO can be issued.

CC: John Walsh, national TV news, etc..

It boggles the mind why the trooper didn't have the guy cool his heels while he ran is name and driver's license number, tags, VIN, etc. through NCIC, which I would hope is linked to DHS databases....

I don’t know that the data base officers use would have the watch list attached to it.

Should be, but can anyone here confirm it is available when an officer runs a name or ID out of their car?
