In WW2, with an economy far more dependent upon labor to produce goods of all types, we raised armed forces of 16 million from a population of 130 million. That's 12.3% of the population. Now we have nearly 300 million and far higher productivity in factories, farms and mines. Let's be REALLY conservative and estimate that 8% of the population volunteers and/or is drafted: 24 million. You saw what 150,000 did to Saddam's army - well, we've got LOTS more where they came from.
Go ahead, Moslems, let your radicals murder our children. You will see, and be the recipients of, the most awful Hell that Mankind can conceive of, and that the most technologically advanced, richest ($13+ Trillion GDP this year) and most pissed-off nation in recent history can deliver. Go ahead. Really. DO NOTHING, let the radicals carry out their sick plans - because shortly thereafter there will be no more of the radicals, nor very many of you. WE FREAKIN' DARE YOU!!

Either that, or you control the radicals, reform your religious education system so as to produce far, far less of the radicals, join most of the rest of humanity in being reasonable people who settle their grievances with words and not by murdering the other person's kids - and then we'll live in peace.
