WASHINGTON, (AP) -- An 8-year-old boy whose mother was deported to Mexico led a chanting crowd of about 150 pro-immigration activists through congressional offices today. Capitol police arrested two demonstrators.
Saul Arellano carried a banner that read, "Born in the USA. Don't take our moms and dads away."

Good to see the illegals out exercising their political rights on our streets.
Now if only I knew why anyone thinks they have any political rights here.

Why isn’t the kid at a foster home or in school?
To: mewzilla
Nope, she left the kid here to do stuff like this. Some mother.

They couldn’t get what they wanted by legislation, so now they are going to try coersion? And this is the type of people that Geroge Bush wants us to embrace? The type of people that think nothing of storming our nation’s legislature and demanding rights they neither deserve nor earn. Pathetic...

This child should be taken away by DC child protection and sent to a foster home. He’s supposed to be in school.

The kid didn’t lead anyone. He’s little more than a prop for the disgusting pieces of crap who are using him.

I thought that kid was back in Mexico? Well, no one actually wants to live there, so he came back...
But of course you must remember it's one of the Greatest Countries on Earth.
Just ask all of those people who risked their lives crossing the Sonoran Desert to get out of their. They'll tell you. Really. Like Madre Arellano.
And at the same time, you'll come to understand that schizophrenia must be genetic in Mexico.

I don’t suppose anyone will think to check on the two arrestees’ citizenship/immigration status and if they are illegal, send them to ICE for deportation?
Nah...would make sense to do it, and we don’t believe in doing something sensible.
To: mewzilla
He went back to his Mom to get his Mexican passport. Now he is skipping school to protest.
I thought that he had some sort of medical problem, that was why she supposedly recrossed after being deported.
Obviously lying runs in their blood.

Son of Activist to Visit Deported Mother
Reason I thought I recalled him leaving is because the same lefties that sent Elian back to Cuba were having a cow about this kid going back to Mexico.

Perhaps if they had the same vigor, they can protest at the MEXICAN capital where they do have rights and complain to them why it is Mexico sucks.

Wow, what an impressive 8 year old. Not only a leader of the cause, but also the ability to organize and lead a demonstration. With a mind like that, who needs to go to class?

You’re one up on me, LOL! The last I heard was that she left the boy with her pastor’s family. I thought at the time how can she do such a thing? Of course, stupid me, I wasn't taking into consideration the reason she had this kid in the first place.
