One can conceivably believe it’s the same war under these circumstances, but to me it appears as I mentioned, one faction (Islamofascists) taking advantage of the naivity of the other faction (Socialists). I believe Islamists are playing the Socialists for gain.
Unfortunately Socialists have achieved a level of success in their creative dissent within the U.S. Government and Society to be credible targets for manipulation by the Islamofascists. Useful Idiots IOW.
I sense offense at my previous comment, and re reading it I can see why. I wasn’t inferring you suffer of some illusion, not at all. I was attempting to clarify my point. Sorry for the poor choice of wording.

But I wouldn't bet on the outcome.
In my opinion, Hillary is the odds-on favorite to win, and sweep in a majority-'rat Senate along with her. Simply stated, the prevailing politcal winds aren't blowing in our direction right now. Whether that direction will change in the next 14 months or so, is impossible to predict.
When such a large proportion of the country has already seemed to turn away from the clash of civilizations that was revealed to them on September 11, 2001, what can we expect?
