It was in protest to the amnesty bill that was being voted on. The RNC donations dropped almost 40% when the President wanted to allow them to stay, but th Democrat donations didn’t reflect the same protest. If that formula holds true in the military then that could easily account for the money difference shown in the article. I agree the only hope we have is a Republican in office, preferably Duncan Hunter but I will take Fred without quibbling also.

Need to repost...
Did you guys see the string of CA fundraisers in the last few days?
Success in L.A.
Los Angeles enthusiastically received Ron Paul yesterday!
The fundraising reception in the morning was a great success. It was held at the Ritz Carlton in Pasadena and tickets were $500 per person. Sold out!
After the breakfast, Dr. Paul went to the University of Southern California. He met with a group of students and press. He then spoke at a rally outside on campus. A police officer estimated the crowd to be between 700-900 people. They cheered Dr. Paul time and time again. Students and professors in the surrounding buildings had windows opened and listened too.
After the rally, Dr. Paul attended a fundraising reception on campus. Tickets were $500 per person for the event. Sold out!
Yesterday evening, Dr. Paul attended a fundraising dinner at the home of Bill Johnson. Tickets were $2,000 per person. Sold out!
Dr. Paul and staff then traveled to San Francisco arriving about 1:00 am this morning. It will be another busy day.

JTN: That is only because you are a well-known paleoPaulie moonbat. If you or anyone else had suggested that you were supporting a patriot, I would have rejected the notion as preposterous since you are evidently a paleowhatever.

You make the unwarranted assumption that any actual Republican or actual patriot takes Dr. Demento OR his supporters seriously when Doc and his paleopals serve here only as objects of derision and for comic relief. You will get the point when the caucuses and primaries start.

I would be loyal to Julie Annie only because he is going to be a great general partner for his and my beloved New York Yankees. Clearly the political thing is not going to work for him even if he does lead Dr. Demento by a wide margin. He now trails Fred by 9% according to Rasmussen. You had already threatened to add me to the paleoPaulie list but I’ve seen no evidence that you acted when I agreed to take you up on it.

While you show some serious spamming skills, I'm afraid you can't make the cut for the high spamming standards of the various RP support organizations.
Keep trying though. We're always looking for talent.

I know. BlackElk is trying to get some of that sweet spamming action but I had to turn him down. Still, he has plenty of time to qualify.
It's interesting to see the mix of age groups in all the RP rallies. Very consistent.

The fantasy Paulites are selling is transparent. Here's a table I put together from the same Federal Elections Commission quarterly filings cited in the claim that Paul leads in support among the military - which reveals this spin to be nothing more than a preconcocted scheme to misrepresent reality.

Now, how is it that virtually all of Paul's supporters gave an employer when so many of the other candidate's supporters left that item out? (Apparently legally!) Something very fishy! Is it merely that the Paulites were directed go out of their way to insist that contributors give this item so as to make this wide claim? Or, did many contributors in fact leave it out - as other candidate's contributors did - only to have it added...
(Just needed to add this tonite. Can't stick around for a reply. Will deal with any further Paulite BS "blowback" at a later time.)

Very interesting. I put up a post making vague reference to a candidate who was right about Iraq all along, and BlackElk, SoldierDad and Allegra all respond with posts talking about Ron Paul. That's because we all know you're a devoted Paulestinian. It's also because Ron Paul is the only Code Pink-aligned candidate in the GOP field and he doesn't have a clue about Iraq or foreign policy in general.

I think we can identify a new mental illness here known as RPDS. I’d be willing to bet that the only cure will be the Primary Election.

To make the spammer cut, you must either be unemployed or can only have a part-time job at Starbucks or Taco Bell or something along those lines.

That's all fine. We already discussed that endlessly on the previous threads which I gave you the links for.
I suppose we could recycle the same posts from those threads but you could just read them.

I would not vote for Ron Paul either. Or Rudi.

Service members gave about $1.8 million in the 2004 cycle
All the service members combined gave $1.8 million 2004? Bless their little underpaid hearts. Norman Hsu gave half that much to Hillary's campaign alone.
