resembles a plan started by Massachusetts last year ...
also would require that the state income tax be nearly tripled from the current 4.6 percent.

That plan would be administered like a public utility, with premiums charged through income taxes and payroll deductions.
Funding would come from several sources, including the federal government, federal income taxes and payroll taxes.
It also would require that the state income tax be nearly tripled from the current 4.6 percent.
NOW THAT SEEMS VERY REASONABLE. WHY NOT PAY THREE TIMES AS MUCH FOR THE SAME SERVICE?

The Democrats need a two thirds vote to triple the income tax here. They can pass the rest by a majority vote. Colorado is a small state. Does it really want to triple the cost of government?

Next comes rationing of Health Services to all but the leaders. Waits for CAT scans will go from hours to weeks or months depending on how sick you are and how old you are. Thus if you are sick and very elderly (like 92), you may wait 4 months, but if you are sick and young (like 19) you may wait only a week. But say good-by to hours for all except the leaders (Presidents, Senators, Congressman, Governors and maybe Mayors).
Oh, and time to wait for a doctors appointment, from days to weeks or months also.
Say Welcome to Socialized Medicine, and say good-by to the best medical care in the world.

The Blue Ribbon Commission for Health Care Reform is only two weeks away from finalizing a fifth and final proposal, one that resembles a plan started by Massachusetts last year requiring that people purchase insurance and prevent companies from rejecting sick applicants. Sounds like healthcare costs go up by about 10 times.

It also would require that the state income tax be nearly tripled from the current 4.6 percent. Voting in a rat Gov & rat controled legislative is really working out for Colorado isn't it

...prevent companies from rejecting sick applicants. If they just stop the Auto Insurance companies from rejecting wrecked cars, and Life Insurance companies from rejecting dead people, I wouldn't have to buy any insurance until I REALLY need it!
