Exclusive: Can We Challenge Their Patriotism Yet?

Democrats insist they are not seditious. “Democrats,” Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) claimed in January 2006, “are just a patriotic as Republicans.” John Edwards (D-North Carolina) won’t stand for anyone challenging his patriotism: “Patriotism is about refusing to support something you know is wrong and having the courage to speak out with strength and passion and backbone for something you know is right.” House Speaker Nancy Pelosi defends her patriotism by citing President Bush: “President Bush told House Democrats, ‘I welcome debate in a time of war. I do not believe that if you happen to agree with me you don’t share the same sense of patriotism I do,’ the president said.”

Let’s take the Democrats at their word: they want to be considered patriots. Fair enough. Patriotism, according to the Random House dictionary, means “devoted love, support, and defense of one’s country; national loyalty.”

Using this definition, let’s imagine the textbook anti-patriot. She would be a vocal opponent of any and all American military victory – she would, in fact, predict defeat from the beginning, hoping to undermine troop morale and boost the morale of the enemy.

Patriotic my ass. The democrats are a bunch of anti-military, anti-family, anti-christian, anti-capitalist, anti-American left wing moonbats.

All they care about is getting back, and increasing, their power. If they have to throw the military and the country under the bus in order to achieve their goals, they will.

The Republicans want to fight the terrorists.

The democrats want to fight the Republicans.

Looks like we’ve got an up and coming thinker.

I'll do more than question their patriotism...

- Liberal Democrats care only about making themselves feel better. They care about nothing else.

- They would force Socialism on every free man, woman, and child to assuage their "guilt" about anyone they see as unfortunate.

- They would allow unlimited numbers of people to enter this country.

- They would oppose any act by their political opponents in order to discredit them, even if such acts are in the interests of the United States.

- They would allow the United States to lose a military conflict against a deadly foe if it would discredit domestic political opponents.

- They would allow terrorists to slip into this country with deadly weapons because they wish to buy the votes of an entire ethnic group.

- They would sabotage foreign policies that are in the interests of the United States merely because they are the policies of political opponents.

- They would sabotage domestic policies that are in the interests of American citizens merely because they are the policies of political opponents.

- They would take away the religious freedoms of American citizens if those citizens are not members of "underprivileged" or "under-represented" religions.

- They would take away the religious freedoms of American citizens if those citizens disagree with their lifestyle or world view.

- They would authorize the government of the United States to steal wealth from their fellow citizens by force and give to them.

- They would take away the right of American citizens to control who gives them medical care.

- They would, through the government, steal the homes of fellow citizens if they could benefit through increase tax revenue.
- They would enact institutionalized discrimination against members of an entire race because of the actions of a tiny percentage of long-dead members.

- They would weaken the ability of the United States military to defend the country and its citizens against both terrorists and enemy nation-states.

- They would weaken the ability of the United States to protect and defend its citizens abroad through intelligence and law enforcement.

- They would weaken the ability of the United States to deter terrorists and nation-states from committing harm to American citizens, interests, and allies.

- They would commit violence against those Americans with whom they disagree.

- They would commit violence against those brave soldiers sworn to protect them and their rights.

I could go on. Liberal Democrats, in my book, are traitors and worse. They are selfish. To satisfy their own self-induced guilt, they would take away the rights of and endanger all Americans. They make me want to vomit.
