I was responding to your claim that it was unthinkable to eliminate the FBI and the CIA. Judging by their complete failure to detect, anticipate and prevent 9-11, holding them to be sacronsect is inappropriate IMHO. For Rep. Paul’s views on the subject, try his campaign or House websites - would not want to put words in his mouth or misconstrue or misquote his positions.
I'm not sure who's holding them sacrosanct, certainly not myself. But I'm not proposing doing away with our two governmental sources of information and investigation just yet. Mr. Paul has proposed this in the past and will not back away from that view.
