If I was fully backing Romney, then I’d come out and say it. But I’m not, at least not right now. Check back with me after a couple of debates with Thompson present, and we’ll see who I like.

And if I’m coming off as dismissing Thompson, then I really suck at communicating. Thompson is in the race, and he has a huge backing; he’s not someone who should be dismissed out of hand. (Ron Paul is.) Thompson has a good shot at winning the nomination, and it’s hard not to consider him the front-runner right now. I’m just waiting for the debates before I form a solid opinion on him—to rank him as the 3rd most conservative candidate after he just joined the race is pretty fair, IMO.)

If Thompson comes off well in the debates, I’ll vote for him.

post2-”IMO, it’s Duncan Hunter, then Mitt Romney, then Fred Thompson”

post10-”Hunter not being listed was my point; I don’t think he’s going to win the nomination, but he’s likely the most conservative candidate.”

post12-”Yes, I’m serious. I think most people are just projecting their opinions onto Fred Thompson without really knowing what he thinks and stands for. There’s just something about Thompson that I don’t like.
Eliminate Hunter and Romney is easily the most conservative of the group.”

Your first three posts show the same pattern you have been using for 10 months.
