He thought he could run the government from the House of Representatives

Gee, the current Speaker thinks the same thing.

and Clinton has to do a lot of last minute stumping, her shrill voice is unlikely to convert voters.

Yeah...I keep hearing that over and over on FR...how that shrill voice will turn people off...and how she sounds like every man’s ex-wife...how it’s like fingernails on a blackboard, etc;etc;etc.........but in case you hadn’t noticed, the media have wised up, and steadfastly refused to show those rare clips where she loses her composure, and they’ll continue to cover for her. Hannity, Rush, Drudge, Imus, and other talk show people will play them, but the left or most independents don’t listen to them anyway. Sorry, I don’t believe she’ll slip on that, her handlers know it’s one of her weakest points, and she’s quite obviously employed a voice coach. I myself can’t even believe it’s the same woman talking. And, don’t forget-she also has the slickster to take up the speechgiving slack.

What’s the deal, newt? Think you’re gonna get some?

Newt gives the impression he would chase anything without a penis but then I thought...why would he be chasing Hillary?

You should’ve heard the same false bravado here on FR back when she ran for Senator in NY...

“...they’ll tear her apart in a New York minute!”

“..it’s gloves off with the toughest press in the country.”

“They’ll kick her @ss back to some trailer park in Arkansas!”

“..the NY press will eat her alive...”

Etc., etc., etc.

The press will do nothing to harm her image and everything to aid her in obtaining the seat of world power.

Unfortunately, those numbers are not cast in stone. They are subject to change, and there are vast resources at the Clinton's disposal to make them change for the better.

Never forget Clinton committed far worse offenses than Richard Nixon.... and Nixon resigned while Clinton skated. The Clintons didn't pull off that Houdini like act by themselves either. Their accomplices are still around, in and out of government.

I certainly understand where you are coming from, but the theory of man-made global warming will be relegated to the trash heap of history no matter what. Eventually, the truth always wins out. But in the meantime, the Global Warming Lobby can do a lot of serious irreparable damage. As I’m sure you know, “Global Warming” is a neo-com Trojan horse to destroy the free market and the US economy through draconian governmental regulation, and ultimately to impose a global centralized command economy government via the UN. The neo-coms know they can get Americans to subject themselves to such in the name of “saving the planet”, but only if no alternatives are altered. Newt is trying to set up free-market oriented global warming “solutions” as a an alternative to the march towards socialism to protect our way of life until the hysteria subsides.

We can certainly continue to fight the myth on the scientific front, but we also need to present free-market alternatives to the neo-coms’ proposed totalitarian political “solutions” to Americans who have already bought into global warming.

Folks, let’s not believe everything that a WaPo hard lefty like Dan Balz says about a conservative Republican, OK?

Google Dan Balz.

Hint: Dan Balz like any other MSM liberal wants Republicans to infight and to lose.

PLEASE consider the source prior to further Newt-bashing!

“Gingrich Thinks No Candidate a Match For the Clinton Machine”

... Except for himself, of course.

Newt, you are smart and concise but you come off as a wise-ass.

You are as bad as ME!
Love ya, mean it.

Nothing like a positive upbeat inspirational message to get the masses excited. Why doesn't Newt just pass out free razor blades and a noose to Republicans?

We are DOOMED. Evidently

As many as 52% of voters say they will not vote for Hillary. Evidently Newt left his calculator in Congress ...

No, his calculator shows how many people will not vote for the RINOs and stay home like they did in 2006 for Congress or in 1996 for the Bob Dole who was generally well liked (especially by media) and did not have high negatives.

Doesn't mean he "loves" her or "agrees" with her or any such nonsense. All he is trying to do is warn us that we shouldn't underestimate her, and that we have electoral college system that could be won with less than 50%, which was what her husband got twice... Or he can just say nasty things about her now, and then "I told you so" after the election, would that be better?

Exactly! He should start dummying up to blend in with the rest of the GOP field.

Well, while he's flapping his gums do you think it's possible to get him to explain why his only response to bin Laden's declaration of war against the good ole US of A in 1996 while Newt was Speaker was to scratch his arse?

Newt and House “insurgents” won the “government shutdown” of 1995, Clinton was within a day or two of giving up, according to numerous WH insiders... Unfortunately, Newt had a “senior partner” Bob Dole who wanted to run for President next year and needed to put Newt in his place, so Bob Dole became a “grown up” and made a deal with his friend Bill, for which he was widely praised in the media.

Bob Dole proceeded to resign from his Leadership and Senate seat (also widely praised by the media) and then ingloriously and miserably lose in 1996 elections.

Nancy Pelosi, on the other hand, doesn’t need bungling Harry Reid’s help in “running” the government - she can do it all by herself. Except for making sure that we surrender to al-Qaeda in Iraq she’s been getting most everything she wanted in the House, even with many “conservative” “Blue Dog” Democrats.

He’s a real pain in the butt. Why doesn’t he retreat to some ivory tower and keep his nose out of this election. He’s not trying to send the clarion call but rather he wants to gum up the works and have his fat little face on all the networks. He’s a blow heart.

The GOP has alienated a substantial portion of their base. This has to be addressed. It cannot be ignored.

With respect to Hillary. The percentage of people who dislike Hillary is so high that it would be historically significant were she to overcome it. She got elected, in a state she didn’t even really live in and only because she was Bill’s wife and her opponent fell ill. Aside from that what are her qualifications?

That’s true, he should’ve called in National Guard. I don’t remember GOP Presidential candidate Bob Dole saying anything about that either.

I pretty much agree, the Republicans will be crushed. They won’t even know what hit them. I’m thinking they lose to Hillary, they lose 10 seats in the Senate and 50 seats in the House.
