HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY (Bay News 9) -- USF student Youssef Megahed has been granted bail on federal explosives charges and could be released on house arrest next week.
Bail was set at $200,000.
The government has filed an appeal. A U.S. District Court Judge is expected to review that appeal next week. Megahed will remain in jail until that time.
Megahed, 21, and fellow USF student Megahed Ahmed Mohamed, 26, were arrested in August after being pulled over for speeding near Charleston, S.C.
Police said the pair had pipe bombs and other items in their car. The students have said they had fireworks.
Both men are charged with transporting explosives across state lines. Mohamed is also charged with teaching and demonstrating how to use an explosive device.
The two have been in jail since their arrests and Mohamed remains in the Hillsborough County Jail.

Does anyone know if this man is a citizen?

Would any bail/bond outfit even think about posting for this guy?

Sure, though they may demand a house back up the bond in addition to cash so they get the house when he runs.

I just pray the FBI/CIA/Etc. are now amped up enough to EXPLOIT guys
like this when they are let out on bail.
Time for some real-life Jack Bauer to step up, tail this guy and
follow him to higher-ups in the terrorist food-chain.
But I won’t hold my breath...

Does anyone know if this man is a citizen? Both were non-citizens, here on "student visas" (a favorite means of entry by Jihadi's). WASS.

Liberals in the senate and congress along with some turncoat GOPer's, liberal judges, liberal media, the ACLU, all of these characters and other organizations are protecting these terrorists and giving them another chance to kill American families in America. These people and groups are the traitorous enemy within, and must be brought to justice along with thier fiends they protect so passionately

Setting reasonable bail to a non-citizen seems a wee bit insane.

Liberals, democrats, and the ACLU think the citizens of the world are citizens of the U.S.
