Come-on, there is nothing wrong with that. Viet Nam wasn't big enough to hold everyone that legally avoided it.
It does matter. Duncan Hunter believed enough in the event to put down his college books and go as a Ranger. A man that talks the talk, and walks the walk, is respectable. That said, I wouldn’t vote for McCaine, pecause of his actions here at home, but I respect him a lot more than most others, for stepping up to the plate, and doing what he believed was right.
Hunter stepped forward then, as he does now. One of the few who has experience in real world activities (worked his way through college). The election isn’t about comparing what they have in common, it’s what’s different about them from the rest of the pack, and why they are best to lead the country. Which reminds me, believe when it comes to how they have managed their personal life, I look at how many times they’ve been divorced, and remarried. The guy from New York is no conservative. Hunter is still happily married to his first, says volumes to me.
