Thanks for the more comprehensive indicator of Muslims as a percentage of residents. I know Upper Michigan quite well. There is a four mile bridge between the Upper and Lower Peninisulas. Statistics can be deceptive. One racial group is given as about 12% of Michigan's population. Yet if the two areas are separated, that racial group is about .6% in the UP.

In short one has to travel over 200 miles west, from the twin cities of Sault Ste Marie, to find even a small register of Muslims.

People must excuse me, but I had a feeling of well being, when I perused this excellent reference. They had caused a commotion just after 9/11 by taking video's of our international bridge. They came from Dearborn in South Michigan. That we don't need.
