Yes they would....They would unanimously vote for a pot smoking hippy liberal with little education...like Ward Chruchill or so other commie.

He’s already got Schumer’s seal of approval, so it’s a done deal. Bush really has lost his political cajones. He should have sent Ted Olsen up to the Senate and dared the ‘Rats to shoot him down.

That might not be so bad. Bush could nominate a very conservative, qualified person, let the Dems filibuster the guy, and make an interim appointment of a truly extreme comservative/libertarian. Then the Dems are screwed either way, adn we’ll almost be happier if they refuse to vote on confirmation. This would be hell on the official nominee, though, so Bush would have to make sure to choose someone willing to take the abuse.
