The record is only in doubt among those who strenuously attempt to create their own reality on the subject.
Unfortunately, those who choose to believe this kind of nonsense will simply choose to continue believing such falsehoods.
It is positive in that it gives the Church an opportunity to teach on this topic. Pro-death ghouls will try to “muddy up the waters”, confusing the faithful. The Magesterium will have to continue to set them straight.
