A best-selling author and leading expert on Islam says that religion is well on its way to taking control of Europe -- and he's afraid that widespread violence may break out as a result.
In his new book, Religion of Peace? Why Christianity Is and Islam Isn't, Robert Spencer, who is director of Jihad Watch, says that the war on terror is in fact a struggle against an Islamic jihad that would conquer and subjugate Western non-Muslims. He also asserts that Islam is well on its way to taking over Europe because the population has been silent for too long.
"It looks as if the problem as advanced far beyond the point of any kind of peaceful or easy resolution," he explains. "Europe is either going to acquiesce in its Islamization and in the imposition of Islamic Sharia law, or its going to degenerate into large-scale conflict between non-Muslims who do not want to be quietly Islamized and the Muslim communities in Europe."
Spencer says the longer Islam is allowed to expand in Europe, the more difficult it will be for non-Muslims to prevent the Islamization of the continent.
Islam is the alpha dog in Europe. It sniffs and the Europeans roll over onto their backs with their feet in the air.

FR has watched it happen for years. I think the writer is correct; when it gets to the “tipping point”, and the Europeans decide enough is enough, there will be no successful remedy besides civil uprising. Their authorities will probably do everything in their power to protect the Muslims.

A well armed and informed citizenry is the way to stop this invasion at a local level.

That is exactly what its going to come down to because the Federal government will go out of its way to accelerate the Islamization on America, mainly due to guilty feelings stirred by a self destructive PC mentality. But Joe Bag of Doughnuts on the street won’t stand for it.

Very funny and almost true. What is different this time is that the Elites have embraced PC-thought with quite the zeal and it has spread to the population at large. Liberalism is a disease that makes a man forget he is a man—it eats away at one’s common sense and self survival instinct. And for good measure, you have the UN expressing disapproval at any measure intended to stem the tide.
The bottom line is that the Europe of today is not the Europe of old. What will happen is anyone’s guess, but this time the Europeans may wait until after its too late before they wake up.
On the flip side, I was just in Britain a few weeks ago. The soccer holligans are still alive and menancing as ever. If anyone will save the continent, it will be them and their ilk.

Islam is a political Arab-superiority cult aimed at world domination. The religious part was only added by Mohammed to make the rest of it go down a little better after his vicious caravan-raiding tribesmen overran the local societies, which were left unprotected by the fall of Rome and the growing forwing division between the Eastern Church and the Western Church.
Even in places where everybody is Muslim, the Arabs still rule, and if they don’t, they attack even other Muslims to make sure they end up in charge. That’s what’s going on in the Sudan right now; in fact, Arab Muslims were also behind the Taliban in Afghanistan. Dummie Black Muslims don’t realize that they’re actually second class citizens in this cult, because Arabs are the top dogs and always will be.
