“This debate will focus on issues that are at the heart of every Presidential election, namely the economy, taxes, fiscal discipline and government regulation,” said Mark Hoffman, CNBC President. “This will mark the first time in the 2008 presidential campaign that all declared Republican candidates will be asked to provide voters with specific plans for the American economy and American workers in an increasingly global marketplace.”

A debate sponsored by, and moderated by the Kennedy wing of the Republican party.

Watch, and it will make no sense.

Tancredo will be portrayed as a nut, Thompson will be portrayed as right wing phony, and Duncan Hunter will be made to look like a kook, while Romney will be portrayed as a slick car salesman (okay, they will get that one right, but its not objective), and anyone who is not liberal (aka anyone but Rudy) will be made to look bad.

This "debate" is a joke, the GOP should ask for a real moderator, and a real debate, this is a sham that will just make conservative ideals and beliefs look bad, and use the candidates to do it by taking statements and words out of context.
