Hillary: No Lock on Women Voters
SeaMax news ^ | September 18, 2007 | Jessica LoMeo

Posted on 09/19/2007 6:49:27 AM PDT by Milltownmalbay

“Women may be ready to vote for a female president, but Hilary Clinton doesn’t fit the bill,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, President of the Susan B. Anthony List.  A national survey of women voters this week revealed that Hillary Clinton has a long way to go before she can claim the “women’s vote.”

The survey says that forty percent of the women said they could conceivably vote for Hillary in the 2008 election.  Another thirty percent would vote for “a woman” in 2008, but not “the woman” who is actually running.  Sixteen percent would back a woman in a future election beyond 2008, and seven percent foreclosed the possibility far into the future.

As an example, the poll revealed that Hillary’s positions on abortion were at odds with a majority of American women.  Seventy three percent of women said they would be less likely to vote for a presidential candidate if they voted against a law that would have made it a criminal act for an adult to take a girl under the age of eighteen across state lines for the purposes of obtaining an abortion without her parents’ knowledge. Hillary Clinton voted against this law twice in 2006.   Sixty four percent on women voters would be less likely to vote for a presidential candidate who voted against the partial-birth abortion ban.  Hillary Clinton voted against the partial-birth abortion ban four times.

Dannenfelser concluded, “Clinton needs women voters to win, yet her extreme abortion policies remain out of step with the majority of American women.  The feminist lobby may support her radical positions, but in the real and bigger world of women voters, Clinton’s extremism fails to translate into voters.”

My wife is due to be sworn in as a citizen next week. She is anxious to register to vote, and she will joyfully vote for ABC (anybody but Clinton). I think that she’s leaning toward Fred, as I’ve been for quite a while.

The beotch (HRC) scares a LOT of people, and not all women are so enthralled with the idea of a woman President that they’ll vote for the likes of her. Sensible women also value a safe nation in which the economy is thriving, as well as a level-headed person with their finger on the button.

"Hillary: No Lock on Women Voters"

But after she's elected, every American (including women) will be in chains. Locks will be mandatory in Hitlery's socialist utopia.

Resistance is Futile!

30% of women won’t vote for that woman, 16% aren’t ready for a woman president yet, and 7% don’t want a women president for a very long time. How exactly will this woman win the election if 53% of women won’t vote for her? And her support among men is even lower.

Is it just me or doe anyone else get the feeliing that the media knows that Hillary can't get over 47% of the popular vote, but they're going with the playbook anyway? I work at a university where there are a lot of libs and about a third of them aren't going to vote for her for various reasons. You also see very few, if any, matchup polls against the top Republican candidates. My guess is that they've taken polls, but the news is that she is barely ahead or even, with less than 47% of the vote which is not good news in a national election.

Those “women” that vote for her will be feminists. Those that aren’t feminists will be labeled as so.

This story is strictly for the other side of the aisle. 55-60% of women voters will dependably vote for OJ Simpson if he wins the Democratic primary.

The problem with Hillary is that she is "elitist" and comes across that way to both men and women. She emits an "aura" that people see as fake.

She Is No Liz Cheney!

Not to mention she will not get the “Oprah bump”. Because Oprah is an Obama supporter she said she will not be inviting Hillary on the show. Not good news for the Hildabeast. Even George Bush got a 10% bump in ratings after his appearance.

NEVER FORGET

.

In the 21st Century the entire future of humankind may well hinge on our finally...

...freeing all the women of the world to be all that they already are in GOD’s Eyes,

...and all that they can be while here on the Earth..?

In the 20th Century HILLARY supported Communist Terrorist North Vietnam’s enslavement of the then Free South Vietnamese women, men and children during the Vietnam War.

Horridly bringing down on them after the Fall of Saigon:

What price is now left for the still Free (that’s US) to pay now, I wonder, with an Anti-Freedom HILLARY pushing hard to re-take our Oval Office...

..in a new time of war
..with our own Freedom
..directly at stake
..right here at home..?

I am willing to vote for a woman candidate. As long as that candidate is Liddy Dole, Liz Cheney, Laura Bush or Condolezza Rice.

I’ve got this gut feeling there are a lot of men and women out there, but especially men, who find her repugnant in some fundamental way.

Furthermore, I wonder how many “likely to vote” male democrat voters could never, ever pull the lever for a woman. I’m talking about the older generation.

A friend has suggested that the Southern men won’t come out for her. I’ve been all over, and I have family all over, and I think it is just as big of a problem in northern cities as it is in the south.

The same can be said about racism. I’ve never heard the N word as much as I’ve heard it in Detroit and Chicago. Do those democrats come out for Obama to be President?

Dunno, but it will be the height of irony if we have a woman+black on the blue ticket and their turnout is extremely low.

Maybe there's still time for Hillary to talk out of both sides of her mouth like Rudy does, and attempt to flim flam female voters with some ridiculous promise that she'll appoint strict constructionists to the S.C.

Hey! I'm as likely to believe her as I am to believe Giuliani. /s
