Oliver Stone can visit Iran to make documentary film about Ahmadinejad

Tehran

Sept 19, 2007

IRNA

Iranian President's advisor for art affairs Javad Shamaqdari said on Wednesday that American film director Oliver Stone had better pay a visit to Iran to get acquainted with realities about the country and make a documentary film on President Ahmadinejad.

Shamaqdari added that given demands of film makers and media and Stone's eagerness to make a documentary film about President Ahmadinejad, it is better for him to travel to Tehran to hold talks in this respect.

He underlined that the West shows incorrect image of Iranian culture which is in contradiction of current realities, and such a visit to Tehran can acquaint Stone with realities and attractions of the country and its people.

Oliver Stone can visit Iran to make documentary film about Ahmadinejad

Leni Riefenstahl can visit Nuremburg to make documentary film about Hitler.

I can’t believe that the Iranians would allow Oliver Stone, the CIA’s second deadliest undercover assassin(*), anywhere near them.

(*) after Michael Moore.

This should be a pretty objective documentary.

In a perfect world, Iran will hold Stone as a hostage until sanctions are lifted.

“Can Michael Moore be far behind?”

He was invited a few months ago. He has so far declined.

We math types have names for various degrees of infinity. We should add a new one to express the fathomless depths to which liberals will sink in their attempt to fool us into thinking that they actually are intelligent. Why, oh why, do we actually tolerate Hollywood any more?

Can he take Michael Moore with him? They can be human shields.

No. Michael Moore will not be going to Iran. Too dangerous. He never went to Iraq either. I don’t even think he travelled to the Middle East.

He did it with second unit crews (including the people who interviewed Nick Berg).

If Hollywood didn’t hold a vice grip on the works of past generations (which should be public domain by now if they weren’t able to buy our legislature), Hollywood studios would be broke.

The old Disney, MGM, WB, etc films make them a lot of dollars on cable, home video, and licensing.
