I want you to know something. I jumped all over an A.P. thread the other day on this topic. You may have seen it. I am VERY leary of the media’s attention to this subject.
What you and I think about our troops, IS NOT shared by the leftists. Many of them are closet or not Moveon.org or DU leftists. One thing is for certain, they are leftists. They hate our military with a passion. These folks show up in pink. You know what I mean.
They trashed our men in the 60s and 70s. They’re doing it again today. And I still remember the reception they built for our men back then, based on medical reports.
I am very leery of publicizing the medical problems of our men through the media. Let Laura Ingraham, and other conservative interests desiminate this information on our boards and through emails.
Do not let the left capitalize on this, like they did in the 60s and 70s. They made monsters out of our men back then, who then couldn’t find work when they returned home.

I do understand your concern. This article showed up under "Medical News" on a news site, not front-page news. I tend to think of FR as a mostly military-supporting organization, but of course there are trolls. It may interest you to know that the Heritage Foundation did a study and found that the average intelligence and schooling achievements of our troops is higher than the national average.
This testing is not an intelligence test per se, but a benchmark test in case of later injury, to make a comparison to pinpoint what areas of the brain have been affected.
I think this is progress, what they are doing. We will all just have to be vigilant and relentless against it’s misuse.
