One thing that would have to happen is to shut down the engines so people could safely move from one place to another on the tarmac.
Shut off the engines on the side of the plane being evacuated, leave the other side running.

I think it would still be quite loud. The jet blast from an engine at idle RPM has enough force to blow a truck a good distance.
