There was video shown on local NY television of the projectile hitting the plane. I saw it with my own eyes. They had that pulled within 24 hours and never showed it again. There were numerous witnesses interviewed on TV that said they saw a projectile headed toward the plane as well.

They just stopped showing the video and said that everyone who saw it was mistaken. End of story.

I saw the radar recording that showed the aircraft and then showed a smaller blip spiral towards the larger one. The spiraling was classic missile trajectory in terminal guidance mode. (the spiraling was not around the craft but a helical motion along trajectory of missile.)

When I saw the original broadcast.....I immediately thought, “That was one of those shoulder-launched missiles!” I’ve seen dozens of those on television broadcasts....shown in the first Gulf War. There was no mistaking what we saw.

I saw that video too within a day or so after the crash. Nothing was ever really said about it, and I’ve never seen the clip again. I don’t buy into conspiracy theories. I don’t think Clinton would of targeted the plane. Its more likely a cover up. This happened just a few months before the 1996 election. If this is actually terrorism, then Its more likely this was covered up so as not to affect Clinton’s re-election. He wasn’t exactly considered a millitary kind of President. This would of killed his re-election. The video did look like a projectile hitting it, but I remember there was something about it that left me wondering if it wasn’t an optical illusion, and it was actually debris falling from the plane just before it broke up. I only saw the video once, and 11 years has clouded some of the recollection. I can’t say I saw I missile, but that video sure looked like it.
