This conspiracy stuff is embarrasing.

At least I'm not the only one who thinks so.

Not as embarrassing as the cover-up.

When you have 300 witnesses is it still an embarrassing conspiracy? When the CIA tells you that an airplane with it's nose blown off continued to climb in altitude is it still an embarrassing conspiracy?

I agree the kook conspiracies are embarrassing. But have you read much about the known facts of this incident?

Actually, if it is only conspiracy, why has the government hunted down, charged and jailed a former TWA flight trainer, her retired (on physican disability) policeman husband, former pilot and former TWA investigator?

The government (both Clinton and Bush Justice Depts.) surpressed outside lab findings from reputable labs that they themselves use in cases, former military pilots' testimony, individual private pilots, witnesses who had absolutely no reason to lie about seeing the exact same thing, miles apart who never met, spoke nor even knew of one another's existence, reassigned navy personnel who were on duty in area, out of the country for years.

Sounds like perhaps a little CYA of people

Beats being embarrassed by you ignorance, doesn’t it?

Any idea where the only other two center fuel tank explosions in aviation history happened? (hint: they’re both terrorist hotbeds)

Do some homework. Don’t be a chump all your life. TWA 800 was an obvious terror attack.

Did you join FR just to say that? I suggest you read JC’s book, you might change your mind. If you are calling the theory embarrasing, then you are calling a lot of credible people and WITNESSES embarrasing. The 9/11 conspiracy is embarrasing. It based on speculation not actual witnesses to the secret government plan to pull it off.

This conspiracy stuff is embarrasing.

Yes, the FBI always takes the lead on investigations of faulty airplane equipment. Where they have absolutely no jurisdiction.

Right, no conspiracy here.

Almost as embarassing as the investigation and the final FBI report...

Why do you say it’s a “conspiracy” .. have you studied or read all the reports ..??

You are new here; Whitewater, Vince Foster, TWA800 are all topics actively discussed here during the Clinton Reign of Error.

Some conspiracies are real. Calling something a conspiracy doesn't automatically make the claim kooky, just as it doesn't automatically make the claim true.

Yes, as someone who has met Cashill and we have mutual friends going back to KC, Jack the Hack went over th edge a few years ago. When I saw him on TV saying that terrorists flew a single engine plane loaded with explosives flew into flight 800 that was enough. He also wrote a bunch of embarassing and retracted net articles on the innocence of the Slepian murderer - until he pleaded guilty.

Oddly enough, I really admire his intellect, warm personality, and out of the box thinking.

Jet fuel (kerosene) is extremely stable and the 747 is the most perfect aircraft ever designed. imo

I think the government is full of crap; I think they lie because people wouldn’t fly otherwise.

This conspiracy stuff is embarrasing.

But nothing like as embarrassing as the video produced by the NTSB that tried to explain how a heavily laden 747 that was lumbering along at best rate of climb would, after having broken in two just forward of the wings, continue to climb for over 3000 more feet before falling into the ocean.

Now THAT'S embarrassing!

Maybe so but with the 24/7 cable shows after all these years I have not seen or heard ONE of the HUNDREDS of eye witnesses to this plume from a rocket or missle on any show. There were hundreds of eye witnesses ,where are they ?

Why is a conspiracy embarrassing? You are not so ignorant as to claim that conspiracies do not exist, are you? That would come as a shock to all the people in prison for conspiring to do this or that, and the juries and prosecutors who put them there.

It is embarrassing for someone to say that talk of a conspiracy is embarrassing. It saddens me to see someone that bereft of the ability to think and reason.

“This conspiracy stuff is embarrasing.”

Sometimes it sure is, for those not wanting the spotlight put on something.

Let’s say you and I got together and fr-mailed eachother and came up with a plan to show up on threads such as these and immediately throw out the word conspiracy and offer nothing else substantive. You and I would no doubt have conspired together to execute a plan. You are now part of a conspiracy to show up on threads such as these and immediately throw out the word conpiracy.

Would that not be both true and totally accurate, while still being a conspiracy? Yes it would be.
