He said the right things, and he gave a pretty good speech. His support of the Lautenberg gun ban doesn't quite square with his comment at the end about not letting the liberals pick some small point and drive a wedge into the Second Amendment. Overall, he did well with this speech, but I'm not sure that he's going to change that many votes at this point. He will get a great deal of support from NRA members, but I think he was getting most of that support already.
