Gangsters and fools in Jena: Professional activists misleading blacks over incidents
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | 9/22/07 | Erik Rush

So, let me get this straight. Some local yahoo, say, tags my car with racial epithets or something of that nature. It makes the news and angers black folks. Months later, a white man is beaten nearly to death by some black guys in a bar. Am I to believe that the reasonable upshot ought to be the media and a cadre of professional civil rights activists descending on the city and thousands marching in the streets justifying the beating because my car got tagged?

Is that what I'm supposed to believe – and am I supposed to agree that public outrage over prosecution of the perpetrators of that beating is justified?

You calling me stupid?

"The Jena 6" – it even sounds like the '60s, which is exactly where the media and the poverty pimps (the aforementioned professional civil rights activists) want to keep America in spirit.

"Enough is Enough!" say the T-shirts.

"Free the Jena 6!" the crowds chant.

On second thought...that is what commies do best...perpetrate turmoil. If I hadn’t seen who organizes these protests for myself..I never would have believed it either.

When I heard about this story, having been away from the internet for a few days, I did some research to see if I could come down in support of the "mainstream" portrayal.

Then I found out the essence of this story, which is that CNN is showing a woman crying on TV NOT because her son was beaten up but because he DID the beating-up; NOT because he was found guilty of attempted murder but because he was found innocent in this supposedly-racist society; and that the crux of this is that "black leaders" were working up outrage because six people beat up one person and the "proof" that it was no big deal is that he was able to attend a school function that night (though the papers skipped the part about him having to leave early because he was in pain)...and that all of this is because the REAL crime was the hanging of nooses on a tree.

The nooses required stern punishment, but the working idea here seems to be that they are the height of outrage not just because they were a "message" but because they could inspire, well, violence, or someone getting attacked.

Yet, the actual violent attack that followed is being portrayed as LESS a crime than the imagery/message that preceded it (and would inspire, if it did, inter-racial crime going the OTHER way).

This is the height of PC insanity: an ACT is portrayed as less than a SYMBOL of that same act (violence).

Just astonishing, although I must say I'm not seeing the average person buying the story the way the media are.

" Months later, a white man is beaten nearly to death by some black guys in a bar. "

The media did not reveal that Mychal Bell, who was convicted of battery in the Barker beating, was convicted a year ago for battery and committed three additional crimes while on probation, making the Jena 6 verdict his fifth conviction for a crime of violence.

Yep, nobody in the news media here bothered to mention this either. They were all tripping over themselves about how the evil prosecutor was pressing for an attempted murder case instead of whimpering in front of the "racists" chant and letting him go. Looks like the prosecutor had it right.

School administrators who do nothing to stop bullying in school are responsible for these types of problems.

A number of offenses (hangman's noose (warning not to sit in a certain place) and a physical attack on the youngster being held/tried were committed by the student who subsequently was beaten.

Had the administrator (principal) handled the earlier offenses without prejudice, this would have been nipped in the bud.

I'm placing the blame squarely on the MSM. They are the ones framing this as Civil Rights: The Next Generation. Hucksters and crooks like Jesse HiJackson and Al Sharpie Sharpton will always pull this garbage, but it's the MSM, just as they did in the Duke lacrosse case, who really turn it into a racial wildfire.

The kid that was beat had NOTHING to do with the nooses. A fight broke out in the cafeteria and the boy was sucker punched from behind causing him to hit the ground where they kicked him in the head while he was down.

I live in Georgia, they were trying to hold a demonstration at my sons school, have everyone wear black shirts if you are against racism. I hit the roof. I asked my kids what they knew about the situation and they gave me a very biased account. I made them look up what had happened to get other sources of the information besides just what was being told to them. We debated the situation for quite a while, needless to say they did not wear the black to school. It actually turned into a good learning experience for them. I don’t have a problem with my kids learning to stand up for things, I do however want them to learn that before jumping on any bandwagon, get the facts.

You are wrong. The boy who was attacked and kicked in the head while unconscious did not hang the noose in the tree. The three boys who did hang the nooses were temporarily expelled, and one dropped out of school, another moved, and the third, a special education student, graduated.
There was NO justification for a gang to viciously attack the boy entering the school with his girlfriend.
If that had been my son, I would have filed attempted homicide charges, and they all would still be sitting in jail, msm or not.
Incidentally, every middle and high school in the USA ought to be fully covered by surveilance cameras. If you can’t afford that these days, you’d better close the school. Video tape would have told the tale here, and that’s the first thing Jena’s school board should approve after the race baiters and aging hippies leave town.

I gauge things by what I actually see going on around me day to day. I see the majority of both black and white kids being friends, all the way from kindergarten through college. It is always the race hustlers that want stir the pot. They know they are becoming more and more irrelevent as time goes by.

I have found nothing stating that the kid who wa beaten did anything, except guilty of being white.

Please give some type of reference that can be checked out for your statement that the guy was guilty of involvement in the noose incident.

If you can not find any reference please explain the basis of your accusations.

Thank you.

If they did that to my son, they would have been hanging in that tree.

I am violently opposed to people who commit violence against me or other defenseless people.

The authorities really hate people like me.

PS The white klan and the black klan should be eliminated. The courts can not do the job.

Yep. I think he remembered what happened when Nifong turned his back on the facts and pandered to the black community.
