I am not for racist knee jerk freepers that if it is not white, it is not right attitude.

Thats one interpretation.

The other is mine - we've been told over & over we will LOSE the hispanic vote if we don't tow the party line on lax border control.

What conclusions do you draw from that attitude?

The old man that throws race into any issue he can, calling others racists. Ha. Your spots have been exposed there chump. I know someday when I meet my maker, I will not be judged for for my views against others different than me in appearance. You whiz, ain’t going to be so fortunate. As stated here - “I for one am for securing the borders and only allowing documented workers from Mexico and Canada to enter the country, with controlled immigration and stopping the flow of illegals. I have never said different. I am not for racist knee jerk freepers that if it is not white, it is not right attitude.” - am open about my feelings and have always been. You have shown your cards too, if it is not white, it is not right attitude.

There are a lot of intelligent, decent Hispanic judges and prosecutors who deserve to be appointed by Bush, and their service in the courts will make the Hispanization of the US progress smoothly. As that progressiveness occurs, tax paying Hispanics will require representation in our courts and political system. Bush is a visionary, a man ahead of his times. ...Why fight the inevitable, or go kicking and screaming into the future that has already been determined for you. Don’t sit around whining because you didn’t get the memo. Learn to speak Spanish before you find yourself in court being prosecuted for hate crimes, and needing a translator to communicate with the Judge and jury. America is changing fast.

I did get the memo, but failed to read it. Thought it was junk mail.

Thank you for setting me straight. Just hope GW saved enough room on the federal benches for Muslims.

“I am a broken glass republican and proud of it. How I vote: conservative republican first, next a moderate republican, a RINO republican over a democrat, never vote for a democrat.”

Line of least resistance thinker, I see.

Why do you even bother to vote?

Wanted to say, great pic but got bogged down with a disciple of GW and his great record on immigration.

So, great picture. Got to love the detail especially the skull and bones ring.

I couldn’t have said it better. One time Bob Martinez was in the news for supporting the alien act back a few months ago that failed. I wasn’t for it as most were but I remember reading commnents on this sight calling him a lettuce picker. Disgraceful!

Bush is a visionary, a man ahead of his times.

No, Bush is a traitor! He is destroying America, and I can't wait until he's gone! I regret voting for him, twice! He could care less about AMERICANS! He favors Mexicans to Americans because they will work for cheap pay and that pleases big corporations! He has sold America/Americans out.

Estrada and Gonzales are federalists, which takes precedence over being Hispanic.

I though we were a color blind society, where people should be judged on there character not there skin color. It is RACIAL PROFILING to stress the ethnic identify. If RACIAL PROFILING is OK to appoint judges, then can’t it be used to identify terrorists?

I think we should wait and see what these judges do rather than make rash condemnations based upon their ethnicity.

I worry more about the fact that Bush picked the judges than whether or not they are Hispanic.

We may get another Gonzales but then we might get another Thomas too.

“I for one am for securing the borders and only allowing documented workers from Mexico and Canada to enter the country, with controlled immigration and stopping the flow of illegals. “

We are all in agreement with you and relieved to hear your position on this issue. Perhaps if that were your original response to this thread, there would not be the hostility and animosity among Freerepublic.com members that I am reading here.

Via Con Dios (not Soros)
