Remember your kids would be a party so such a transaction. Are you teaching your kids that others are responsible for their actions? Shifting blame and responsibility to others is the bane of our society.

I am protecting them AND teaching them I can hold others responsible for their actions.

Shifting blame and responsibility to others is the bane of our society.

I take full responsibility, and if someone gets in the way, they lose. Children are not consenting adults...

Strawberry meth seized in search (article from January 29, 2007)

I live in Reno (30 mins North of Carson City). I’m a parent of small children as well as a foster parent. As a foster parent we are trained on all the new drugs on the street (particulary since most of the kids in care right now have parents addicted to meth or have been exposed in some way - even the newborns).

The new strawberry meth is insidiously dangerous because it’s already found it’s way to elementary school campuses in our area. It seems that there may be some kids in elementary school with parents or older siblings who deal. They give out (not sell) the “candy” to the very young in order to ensare them early. Nothing like securing future business.

It has gotten so bad that NO candy is permitted on school grounds (outside of a supervised classroom party). If anyone is caught eating or giving out any kind of candy on the playground or around school property, they’ll be hauled in.

The strawberry meth looks like a pink Jolly Rancher candy. They even have it on “a stick”, so you can eat it like a sucker. It’s vile and sickening. I get the pleasure of helping to pick up the pieces of the shattered little lives this addiction causes.

Unfortunately, Washoe County has now because the Meth Capital of the US. We’ve practically lost a whole generation of parents to Meth over here.

Children may not legally consent to certain actions, but a parent beating up the other party to the transaction is an object lesson that only the other party was at fault, i.e. shifting blame and responsibility to the beaten party away from the child. All actions have consequences including actions one may consider justified.

Bullshirt!

That is the same rationalizing used by child molesters!

Fist fights are for little kids. Children would never see what I have in mind...

Since you seem so committed to inficting punishment on the other party, what type of discipline are ready to provide your child? Would you be willing to turn your child and the other party into the police? Or do you believe your can do no wrong?

You don't listen too well...

Would you be willing to turn your child and the other party into the police?

Don't need the police...

I wish you well when your children reach maturity and they believe they are above the law.

The druggies, like the sex perverts, can only perpetuate an ever increasing demand for their filth by molesting the minds and bodies of the young ones.

The minds and bodies of the young ones wouldn't be open to their filth if not for your lack of parenting skills. The world is a dangerous place. Teach your kids to make good decisions and you won't need to worry about the druggies and perverts.

My parenting skills are just fine. Eliminating any threat and protecting them is just one duty.

The world is a dangerous place.

Especially if you mess with my children.

Teach your kids to make good decisions and you won't need to worry about the druggies and perverts.

Eliminating the threat enhances that for myself and others...
