Coulda been probing the Israeli air defenses. Or trying to get payback for the raid the other week. I think the Syrian mistake is in thinking that just because they’re systems don’t work, that the Israeli system don’t work either.

I think the Syrian mistake is in thinking that just because they’re systems don’t work, that the Israeli system don’t work either.

The frightening part, at least to the Syrians and Iranians, is that the Syrian defenses stopped working when the IAF entered Syrian territory. I imagine that during the attack there was a large Israeli (or American) aircraft loitering near the Syrian border doing bad things to the Syrian electronics. Maybe even one flying near the Iraq/Syrian border too.
