"The scare rhetoric is no longer working, as evidenced by the poll numbers, signifying a growing discontent in the general electorate"

Conversely, the cut'n'run rhetoric is working to your delight, signifying a growing discontent with finishing what was started. I don't suppose working in concert with NYT/CNN/ABC/CBS/NBC/BBC/CNBC, etc, shames you one bit does it? With useful idiots like this working against us, external enemies are just a sideline distraction.

Polls are food for fools.

"Go get back in your safe zone under the bed junior."

I will self censor myself as to where you should go, but I know that you don't belong on Freerepublic IMO.

Just goes over your head doesn't it? Poor lad. History has already shown us what the result will be. Banging the drum louder isn't going to change the results. As I've said in the past, 'finish' what was started. I don't really care. The result will be the same within a generation

Awwww, I didn't know you cared....

Remember this very specifically. This time next year, whoever the Republican candidate is he will be talking about ending the police action. It may be under the miraculous 4-6 month turn around of everything going 'great' all the sudden (which in reality it won't be) but the Republican candidate will be calling for a plan to bring the troops home. Maybe you can send him some hatemail.

As for Iran, Bush II and doesn't have the political capital to even try and make the same mistake in Iran
