not a hate crime, just random act of patriotism.
I don't remember the Supreme Court saying you had to own the American flag you were burning. You just have an absolute right to burn it.
Offer them a compromise. You'll pay for the cost of the flag they were displaying illegally. I'll even contribute 29 cents via PayPal. That should cover at least half the cost.
Seriously, you need to get your story in front of some friendly audiences. How about the VFW? Forget about the ACLU.
Can someone post the diversity twit's email address?
Cheers!
Don't hold your breath!
Uh... was the pole EMPTY at the time?
If not; where did the US flag go!!??!!??
NO!
Merely continue to ACT in the proper manner!
In WWII, when the US Army and Marines fought for and defeated the enemy they raised the American Flag. That area was then considered to be under the control of the US military and as such our real estate. Doesn’t the flying of the Mexican flag flying alone or above have the same meaning? To me it sounds like that school has suseeded from the US and is declaring war on our citizens by charging you with destruction of the Mexican flag which has no place flying on American soil except as a lower item, and you are only defending the US soil until the rest of your fellow citizens are mobilized and come to defend this nation under attack and invasion.
Good Luck in the defense of your actions because you are going to need it when the sympathizers and the traitorous press and liberals go after you for not toeing the propaganda model that was set up at that university.
Again, welcome to FR and thank you for your service

But; has it ever happened?
Is there NO ONE with balls in LANSING???
Yes...
...on the 5th of May!
Then it doesn't APPLY to you; does it?
“No good deed goes unpunished.”
“The rights enumerated in our Constitution, including free speech, are not conditional. They are not fleeting. They are inalienable and people need to start getting ticked off by the fact that we are being made strangers to the law that is supposed to secure these rights. “
Someone needs to tell the idiot that the guy who removed the flag has the same unconditional, non fleeting, inalienable right enumerated in OUR Constitution. And I for one am willing to fight for his right to do so.

that was my thought too. I am offended by this flag flying alone on an American soil campus. This makes my blood boil.
NO MORE!!!!!!!
Everyone should write the confused administrators of this campus to remind them where they are, and the senators, congressman, governor and elected officials of the state.
Isn’t the Governor of New Mexico a candidate for the democratic nomination for president? Shouldn’t he be questioned sharply as to why a state institution is in wilful violation of the law in this case, and apparently proud of it?
Yes, it is but one of the tools these groups use to forward their agendas and in today’s PC climate it is a very strong form of intimidation.
In addition to having a good attorney, you should consider contacting David Horowitz of Front Page Magazine. His is a very interesting story and he is well-versed in leftist tactics on university campuses. He may or may not be interested in your plight.
Please keep us updated.
UNM will tolerate acts of racism or xenophobia against White Christian Republican males.

Exactly.
Well done Peter. Just for kicks and grins, someone should tear down an American flag at UNM and gauge the administration’s reaction.
Things like this are the reason why more and more people are choosing not to go to colleges like this.
I'm pinging the Haditha Marine list to this thread because it's important (and because Lancey asked me to).
