Amid too many lies, paranoid pronouncements and transparent expressions of anti-Semitism to count, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad hit on one truth yesterday. The invitation extended to him by Columbia University was a sign of respect.
That's why Columbia President Lee Bollinger and one of his top deans were so damnably wrong to host Ahmadinejad on campus. They wrongheadedly placed him on a plane that should be reserved for world leaders who are members in at least fair standing among the community of nations.
It was infuriating and a source of sadness that a premier New York institution would entertain an event that all too predictably became an unredeemed circus. Bollinger and John Coatsworth, acting head of the School of International and Public Affairs, inflicted serious damage on Columbia's prestige.

You had to love Bollinger’s excuse as to why he decided to let this murdering terrorist on his campus. His snotty-nosed college students kids were going to ask Ahmadinejad some “tough questions.” ROTFLMAO!!! That technique should go a long ways towards helping us win the war against Islamofascism. LOL!
