All non-citizens from Islamic countries should have been evicted right after 9/11...and/or put into camps, just like FDR did to Japanese, Germans, Italian born aliens.

I guarantee that had we done so, we would have suffered many more attacks in the interim - as those Muslim citizens who have been quietly tipping off the FBI to future plots would have just said "Forget it - those bastards threw my cousin Hamid into a dungeon."

Why are so many FReepers anxious for America to act like the bad guy? The momentary spasm of ego-pleasure at watching the Arabs get rounded up would absolutely not have been worth the consequences that would have followed.
