What are you guys going to do if Paul wins the nomination? Are you going to vote 3rd party, despite the fact that Paul will still be a better Commander-in-Chief than all the Dummycrats and maybe even better than Rudy, Romney, and Huckabee? He's still conservative on all of the other issues. Reports are circulating that Paul's 3rd Q fundraising may top $10 million. $10 million raised in a quarter that's traditionally slow is front-runner status money. It's huge news, especially for a guy that "can't win" is "2% in the polls" or is a "kook."

Keep in mind that this post shouldn't be construed as me shilling for Paul, but you guys need to look at some reality here. Now I've attended Paul rallies and seen pics and videos of them, and these folks could easily have been your next door neighbors. Women with kids and babies in the audience. Funny, but I didn't see any 9/11 "Truthers", anti-war kooks, or anarchist anti-gov't types.

All your name-calling and cheesy photo-shops are apparently having no impact on the thousands of grassroots supporters who are enthusiastically supporting Paul. Paul has the GOP in a delicate situation. Should they keep marginalizing him, taunting him and his supporters, at the risk of his supporters staying home or writing in Paul's name in the general, thereby giving Hillary the election? Or do they at least adopt some of his views, like ending the Drug War and not committing to a long-term Mideast operation, and perhaps abolish the income tax and let Dr. Paul speak at the convention so those libertarian and swing voters will vote for the nominee? These are serious questions here, because I for one do not want Hillary to be President, and I'm sure in the Hell am not supporting some RINO who'll continue the quasi-socialist status-quo.

What are you guys going to do if Paul wins the nomination?

"What are you guys going to do if it turns out that the disembodied brain of William Shakespeare, kept alive by Nazi scientists all these years in a secret underground government bunker, actually dictated every last episode of Jake and the Fatman?"

"What are you guys going to do if Celine Dion becomes an ace reliever for the Houston Astros next year?"

"What are you guys going to do if it turns out that Batman and the Easter Bunny are actually real?"

Notice what all four of the queries listed above have in common.

To answer your first question...he won't. And I never called anyone names. As far as Paul himself, I merely said I consider his views insane, that is an opinion and I'm sticking to it. As I work with the military personnel, I was particularly incensed by his vote against tightening sanctions against Ahmadinejad and a call to designate his army a terrorist group. I won't go as far as others and call this treasonous, but it is a fact that the Iranians are killing our troops in Iraq and his vote only serves to embolden the terrorists. That being said, if forced to, I would hold my nose and vote for him...but I guarantee you I will lead the march to impeach his ass if he causes the deaths of our soldiers and Iraqis by doing a Vietnam-type pullout.

As far as his supporters, I said their actions are childish and border on criminality (re: vandalism of currency, on-line gambling) because those actions are considered illegal under the law, as is smoking pot. IF he gets into office, then you can change those laws to your liking, but until then, I will hang with a more law abiding class of people.

Well, I don't know.

I haven't figured out what I'm going to do when large denominations of US currency start raining from the sky or what I'll do when that flock of pigs flies over my house and whether the freezing over of Hell will have any impact on this global warming stuff.

Once I figure all of those out, I'll work on that one. :-)

What are you going to do when the moon melts, it's made of green cheese you know.

As I'm mentioned to you before, we'll get to see the political acumen of FR's Paul supporters put to the test.

Keep in mind that this post shouldn't be construed as me shilling for Paul, but you guys need to look at some reality here. Of course not. You’d never shill for Paul. And he gets no support at all from truthers, anti-war folk, or haters. That’s just an internet thing, and we all know the internet isn’t reliable. Is that why Paul’s supporters tout his internet performance?

All your name-calling and cheesy photo-shops are apparently having no impact on the thousands of grassroots supporters who are enthusiastically supporting Paul. Paul has the GOP in a delicate situation.

Oh, please, the whining accomplishes nothing. I’ll stand by everything I’ve said about Ron Paul. For your own credibility, please provide links to 5 of my photoshops.

You're right. Just today I passed an '83 Cavalier with a "Ron Paul 2008" and an "infowars.com" bumper sticker. Salt of the earth.
