WOOOHOOOO — VERIZON! It is a start. I will call them (they are my carrier) and thank them for the start.

ping!

I understand the question about what will they choose to NOT allow access next time.... It is a business, where you pay for the services. Would you want to be bombarded by advertising messages? Let alone those that are against your values? Whether their motivation is right, or not....it is a move in the direction of the RIGHT. God has moved governments in the past to do His bidding....why not a cell phone company?

Another side of this coin....how many TEENS have cell phones? Would you want your teen bombarded by NARAL and PP advertisements in text messages? If they (NARAL, PP) were allowed to do that, how far would it go? Where would it stop? I prefer to see this as a VERY POSITIVE thing in the world of so many negatives.

May Verizon continue to make wise decisions that match my values!

The problem is that Verizon would also ban Pro Life text messages if such a group wanted to send them.

You realize, don’t you, that under this reasoning Verizon will also ban pro life text messages? Do you still think it’s good?
