I just submitted an online job application this morning, and the first screen that came up was "are you Hispanic/Latino?". Clearly there is a preference if you are. I selected "I prefer not to answer".

Hey, I can speak Spanish, and if that's an important job skill then I have it. As far as my race and ethnicity goes, they don't need to know.
